Freelance Marketing & Employee Success Stories:
Website/E-Commerce
- I recreated a website to drive organic traffic with the result that increase of over 20%. This was done by implementing the best practices and a strategy for SEO. I created content and added product descriptions to the product and category pages. I also worked with an agency on UX and fixing back-end issues.
- To increase sales and cart values, I researched, vetted, and selected a buy now pay later company and a third-party extended product warranty company. The purchase now pay later, increased basket values with more products in the cart, and the extended warranty add-on added an extra revenue stream within one purchase.
- Created copy for an e-commerce store in a competitive industry focused on differentiation and remaining in the top spot for industry keywords. We focused on having better product images by shooting them in-house, creating all original copy with an industry focus, creating original content with in-house & user-generated content, social media (organic & paid) pushes, and segmented email campaigns. The most important this is that this increased site traffic and some of the largest yearly sales in the company’s history.
Project Management
- I created a tradeshow booth and strategy from scratch in only four months. This tradeshow was the company’s first major tradeshow; we built the entire booth, delivered products, created displays, and handled all the paperwork to make the show successful. This show generated around 12 meetings with major retailers. Without a doubt the show was a success and put the brand infront of some of the most major retailers.
Member/Customer Engagement
- I handled regional conference and industry event presentations and delivery logistics to increase member engagement. I streamlined the process for the presenters by collecting content, proofing it, and delivering it to the AV team for testing. Within an hour after the conference concluded, we delivered the content to attendees by packaging it and emailing it to all attendees. Moreover, three days after the conference, we emailed videos of the presentations and their content to members who could not attend. This was a key initiative to drive member value and retention.
