Over the last 15+ years, I have worked on all aspects of customer-facing marketing campaigns as an employee & also as a freelance marketer. Some of the work includes print projects, managing social media and email marketing campaigns, and website content (including e-commerce). I am an expert at developing, creating, and building a promotional calendar while developing a voice for products & brands. Furthermore, I am a marketing professional seeking freelance opportunities.
Please, look around, and if you like what you see and are looking for a marketing freelancer, please contact me. I would love to collaborate on a project and work together to help you achieve your marketing goals.
Tensator Social Media, Sales Flyers, & Website Work
For Tensator, I created marketing material for the sales team and the Tensator US LinkedIn page while managing the direct-to-consumer website (Lawrence Metal). During my time at Tensator, I worked with an agency to: revamp the site by improving the UX with visual improvements, better site navigation, improved site speed, and blog content, and copy to describe the products & their uses. Along with the front end, we also worked on the back end by fixing & installing plugins, correcting product dimensions/weight for shipping rates, adding alt text and descriptions for photos, and correcting product variations/options.
Ultra Bright Lightz Social Media Posts & Video Shoots
Previously, I managed social media accounts, wrote scripts, and developed the content calendar. I was also responsible for all things website and e-commerce. This included shooting videos and taking photos to highlight product features and benefits. I did all of this while also writing engaging copy to describe the product and tell an engaging story. All of this was done for the first responder audience.
USI – Email Marketing for My Benefit Advisor
I was the main point of contact for select Chambers of Commerce and Bar Associations. For them, I would write Informational articles/blog posts promoting the Chamber’s/Bars My Benefit Advisor program. Through the Chambers of Commerce and Bar Associations, members could join the My Benefit Advisor Program, which would keep benefit managers updated on all things insurance (legal, enrollment, essential dates, and trending topics) while, most importantly, managing their plans to help keep costs down.
The Advertising Research Foundation – Project Management & Event Management
I managed all projects for Original Research Papers (editing, graphics, budgets, sponsor communications, and member distribution)as my primary responsibility. I was also the editor-in-chief of the Weekly Member Newsletter, highlighting important member topics within the marketing and advertising research industry. Lastly, I was responsible for managing all aspects of the ARF regional events, and the responsibilities included working with the AV team for presentation production, gathering slide decks from speakers, room prep for presentations, and distribution of presentations/videos to all ARF members. I worked at the ARF as an employee and also completed freelance projects.
Creta Farms USA – Marketing Promotional Materials & Trade Show Management
First, I helped put Creta Farms in front of 200+ Meat and Deli Department buyers over three days at the 2010 IDDBA in Houston, TX. For example, I was responsible for everything trade show and booth-related. This included design, product layout, booth layout, purchasing, logistics, and setup.
Marketing Materials
Next, I created all marketing materials that were placed on display at the deli counters to help promote Creta Farms. This included writing the copy, selecting products, laying out the project, working with printers, and coordinating the delivery to hundreds of deli locations.
Premium Outlets – Marketing and Brand Materials
First, after reviewing the current materials placed in their 75+ locations, I established standardized flat maps to make them uniform from center to center. Second, I oversaw all directory updates, brochure updates, signage, and anything customer-facing print for each center. And third, I did all of the above while managing their marketing budget for these projects.
Radio Commercials & In-Store Promotions
Finally, I have written radio commercials playing over the airwaves in the Greater Philadelphia region. The commercials were also played in stores to promote sales while customers shopped. I have also worked at the store level to hang displays, shelf talkers, and promotional items while capturing the promotions for the sponsors.
